Mrs. Elwell has been working at Lawrence Elementary since 2007. She loves being a part of the Lawrence community and developing a sense of belonging and fun in the 5^th grade classrooms. When she isn't in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, road trips, cooking and reading.

I grew up in Iowa, attended Arizona State University, and am thrilled to be starting my 5th year of teaching. Before coming to Lawrence Elementary, I taught middle school science, math and English language development. In my free time, I love to camp, read, practice yoga, and spend time with family and friends.

I am excited to be joining the Lawrence community as a 5th-grade teacher this year.  This will be my 6^th year teaching 5^th grade. I especially love to teach math and social studies.  I look forward to creating a classroom environment where curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning can flourish.
