Megan Ryan, School Psychologist

Voicemail: 303-982-5084 Hi Lawrence students and families! My name is Megan Ryan and I am the school psychologist at Lawrence Elementary. This is my 4th year at Lawrence and I love being a part of this welcoming community of educators, families and students. I'm originally from the east coast and was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia and went on to earn an Educational Specialist degree in Child, Family, and School Psychology at the University of Denver. I am passionate about supporting all students in their social emotional development and working alongside families and educators to ensure all students feel safe, welcome, and supported at school. Outside of school, you can find me adventuring in the outdoors - whether it's mountain biking, snowboarding, or hiking, spending time outside is my way to relax and recharge. I am so excited to be a part of the Lawrence community for the 21-22 school year and look forward to supporting all of our amazing students and families along the way.

Welcome Families & Students! My name is Kimberly Sharrow and I am the new Social Emotional Learning Specialist at Lawrence Elementary School. I am very excited about this school year and the opportunity to further SEL at Lawrence Elementary. Although this is my first year in this position, I have been a School Counselor for 10 years and worked with children for over 15 years! I moved to Colorado about two years ago.  Prior to moving here, I grew up in Vermont, attended college in both Upstate New York and Hawai’i and lived in NYC for several years.  I participated in an exchange program from SUNY Plattsburgh to University of Hawai’i and decided to stay to attend Graduate School at Chaminade University. I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and recently obtained both my National Board Counselor Certificate (NBCC) and CO Licensed Professional Counselor license (LPC). I’ve worked in schools in Hawaii, NYC and Colorado, with families and students from all walks of life.  When I’m not at work, I enjoy hiking, seeing live music, traveling and spending time with the puppy, Hendrix. I’m looking forward to getting to know the Lawrence community!
