Hello! My name is Elma Gazibara and I am going to be your child’s 4th grade teacher. This will be my 9th year teaching in Jeffco and my 2nd year teaching 4th grade at Lawrence. In the past I’ve taught 1st-4th grades, but most of my experience is in 4th grade. I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I moved to Colorado when I was 8 years old. I grew up in Lakewood and graduated from Green Mountain High School (go Rams!). I went to CU Denver where I received a degree in Psychology and a masters in Curriculum and Instruction. When I’m not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and gardening. My husband and I enjoy hiking and exploring Colorado with our two daughters and two dogs. I am excited for our fourth grade journey!
