Hello Lawrence families, My name is Cate Gillespie, and I teach English as a Second Language. I get to work with children whose first language is something other than English.. This is my 8th year teaching at Lawrence. I have classroom experience in kindergarten, first, third and fifth grades. I have my master's degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from CU Denver, and I have my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from University of Northern Colorado. When I am not teaching, I love hiking with my family and sewing quilts.
